Is social media included in Adverse Media checks?

No, social media is not included in an Adverse Media check. Adverse Media checks only search articles that have been published in newspapers, corporate news releases/newswires and journals for links with serious crimes.

What information do I see if a match is made in an Adverse Media check?

If a match is made with a candidate and a media source, you will see the publication name, date, article extract covering the key details and the reference to your candidate. If the publication includes any information such as the candidate's address/age/date of birth, this will also be provided.
